The Manitowoc man who sexually assaulted his girlfriend’s daughter multiple times has been sentenced.
37-year-old Travis L. Tingler was found guilty during a recent jury trial on a total of six charges and was sentenced to spend a total of just shy of 40 years in prison to be followed by 17-years of extended supervision by Judge Jerilyn Dietz.
Tingler had assaulted the child multiple times over a three-year span while her mother was at work, and would show her pornographic videos.
He also told the child he would kill them if they ever told anybody what was happening.
Tingler will also be required to be on the Sex Offender Registry upon his release, as well as maintain absolute sobriety, and undergo treatment and counseling.
