The Wisconsin Elections Commission has decided not to sanction fake electors following the 2020 presidential vote.
Commissioner Bob Spindell was among ten Republicans who falsely claimed to be members of the Electoral College.
Republicans from several states sent fake paperwork to the National Archives in an effort to reverse Donald Trump’s loss in their states.
Madison attorney Jeff Mandell filed the complaint.
He said that Spindell’s participation in the effort was inappropriate.
