The Sheboygan Area School District has announced that they are going to pursue a sale proposal submitted by Froedtert and the Medical College of Wisconsin.
The school district has 26 acres of land available on Taylor Drive, and Froedtert offered to buy it to build a three-story hospital and medical center.
That building would go between Saemann and Geele Avenues, across from the Fields of Dreams, and two senior living facilities would be built in the future.
The school district made the decision to go with this proposal last week after the sales process began back in November.
