While the prices at the pumps in Eastern Wisconsin are up in most counties, the rise wasn’t nearly as staggering as last weeks jump.
According to the AAA Gas Prices webpage, the average price per gallon of fuel in Manitowoc County rose 10 cents to $4.05, while Sheboygan County only saw a two-cent jump to $3.99.
Also at $3.99 is Calumet County, which reported a nine-cent spike, while Outagamie County reported the only decline over the past week, down four cents to $3.94.
Brown County motorists are now paying five cents more at the pump at an average of $4.07, while Kewaunee County reported the largest jump.
They are up 16 cents to $4.09, while Door County has the highest price, and second-highest increase, up 11 cents to $4.16.
The state average also rose eight cents to $4.02, and the national average is up 15 cents to $4.32.
As a reminder, these prices are an average throughout their respective areas. The prices may be higher or lower at any individual gas station.
