Stories of American kindness have been coming out of everywhere, including a middle school in Appleton.
Students at Einstein Middle School have been making blankets for the men, women, and children that have been affected by the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
As of their most recent update, over 140 tie blankets have been created and shipped off to eastern Europe, along with boxes of food, and personal hygiene items.
This project actually began as a way to help those closer to home, but once the conflict in Ukraine began, they shifted focus, and began sending them to the families fleeing their homes.
Each blanket even comes with a personalized message, which says “Made with love, Einstein Middle School”.
This is just the most recent story of the world coming together to help the innocent victims, caught in the middle of a conflict they did nothing to start.
