The three teenagers who were accused of a series of carjackings in Manitowoc and Sheboygan last November have been sentenced.
18-year-old Dequan Rushing of Manitowoc was found guilty due to a no-contest plea on charges of 1st Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety With Use of a Dangerous Weapon, and Using a Weapon to Drive or Attempt to Drive a Vehicle Without the Owner’s Consent.
18-year-old Lucas Lamont Brown of Sheboygan was also found guilty due to a no-contest plea, while 18-year-old Maleak Brown, also from Sheboygan pleaded guilty to the same charges.
The three teens will spend between 7 and 17 years in prison for the crimes and will spend 10 years on extended supervision.
