Badgers sophomore forward Johnny Davis is right at the top of the list of Sports Illustrated’s top 50 players of college basketball.
The 6′ 5″ La Crosse native has the numbers to back up the choice.
He’s averaged 20 points and 8 rebounds a game while Wisconsin has won a share of the Big Ten Conference title.
Davis is the Big Ten Player of the Year and has already been named to one post-season All-American group chosen by The Sporting News.
He is primarily responsible for Wisconsin’s 24-and-6 season after the team was picked to finish 10th in the conference in preseason polls.
