After a 99-day lockout, Major League Baseball is finally back.
Major League Baseball and its Players Union reached an agreement on a new collective bargaining agreement Thursday after several marathon negotiating sessions this week.
The union voted to approve the deal 26-to-12 even though eight members of the executive subcommittee all voted no.
The owners ratified the five-year agreement with a unanimous vote.
Opening day for the Milwaukee Brewers and all other teams is set for April 7th.
All games that had been canceled by commission Rob Manfred are now returning to the schedule – likely as doubleheaders.
