Students in the Valders School District have joined forces to show their support for the people of Ukraine.
All this week students have been collecting supplies to ship out to the innocent victims of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
The district-wide effort saw the younger students create handmade cards with personalized messages in them, while graphic design students posted posters around the schools to inform everyone of what they were trying to do.
While the dangers of social media are rather well known, in this case, the constant barrage of photos and videos from the eastern European country has led to many becoming more informed of what is happening without having to turn to the national media.
The room full of donations will be taken to Green Bay today, where they will then travel to Poland, and finally to the Ukrainians that need them.
