With the Freedom girls playing in the State Basketball Tournament later this afternoon, the Irish boys played their Sectional semifinal game last night at Oconto Falls.
And, Freedom came up a winner over #1 seed, Northland Pines, 48-31.
So, the Irish will face tonight’s Brillion/Kewaunee winner Saturday afternoon at Two Rivers High School.
The division-3 portion of the state tourney at the Resch Center in Green Bay gets underway today at 1:35 with top-seeded Waupun meeting Dominican, followed by ‘2 seed Freedom and St. Croix Falls.
Two games in the division-4 bracket are set to be played tonight beginning at 6:35 p.m.
