Just over a week after their Porta Potty Race Fundraisers, Lakeshore Foster Families received another major boost to their funds.
The local organization that helps foster children received a $10,000 donation from the group 100 Women Who Care – Manitowoc County.
The check was presented at their meeting on Tuesday at the Sepia Chapel in Two Rivers.
According to their Website, the 100 Women group aims to “support our local community by collectively creating meaningful monetary awards to nonprofit organizations throughout Manitowoc County.”
In a post on Facebook and Instagram, Lakeshore Foster Families said “This contribution will play a large role in helping us achieve our mission. Without this outstanding group of women, this would not be possible.”
