The two sides in Major League Baseball’s lockout have moved closer on key issues, but Commissioner Rob Manfred canceled another 93 regular-season games Wednesday.
That appears to mean the entire 162-game schedule won’t be played.
Opening day would now be April 13th.
It was originally scheduled for March 31st.
The players and owners have sat through some marathon negotiating sessions trying to reach an agreement.
They are expected to meet again today in New York City.
