A Dane County judge is releasing more than 750 pages of records from the investigation of the 2020 presidential election in Wisconsin.
Judge Frank Remington ordered the files to be turned over to the watchdog group American Oversight.
Special investigator Mike Gableman had tried to stop the release but Judge Remington said he couldn’t find a single document that would undermine the investigation if it was handed over.
The judge says many of the files were already available to the public and there was no reason for Gableman or Assembly Speaker Robin Vos to withhold them.
