Three of the five local youth hockey teams competed at state this weekend, each to varying results.
The Squirts B team had the most success, as they made it all the way to the state championship game.
They dominated Price Ice 11-1, and West Salem 4-1 to get there but fell to Spooner 6-2 to bring home the silver.
The Squirt C team ended up in fourth, although we did not get any information on who they played or the scores of those games.
The Bantams meanwhile played on their home ice in Manitowoc, where they competed in the Consolation Championship game Sunday morning.
They got there after losing their opener to West Salem 5-1 before winning a nailbiter in overtime 3-2.
They ended up losing to Dodgeville 6-2 in the Consolation Championship matchup.
Congrats to all three of these teams on their successful seasons.
The Peewee B and C teams will take to the road for their State Tournaments this coming weekend.
