The UW Green Bay women’s basketball season came to a sudden end last night as they fell to Cleveland State 69-42 in the semifinals of the Horizon League Tournament.
It was simply put an off night for the Phoenix, as they shot just under 30% from the floor and a measly 4-33 from beyond the arc.
They were also out-rebounded 40-24 and only had 3 steals, compared to the Vikings’ 9.
Appleton North grad Sydney Levy was the leading scorer for the Phenix, accounting for 8 of her team’s points.
UWGB ends the season with a record of 19-7, 14-4 in the Horizon League, which included a 10-game win streak.
