A new state campaign is aiming at preventing demand for methamphetamines. The “kNOw meth” public awareness campaign seeks to assist local departments to prevent meth use from the start. At a press conference at UW-Eau Claire yesterday, the Attorney General announced that the Department of Justice will be committing 50-thousand dollars toward the campaign. The campaign will use printed materials, public service announcements, and a website to share information on how to stop meth abuse.
