The Major League Baseball Players Association put a new offer on the table Sunday during a 90-minute negotiating session.
Team owners responded by saying they weren’t impressed.
At least one said Sunday’s offer was worse than the last one the players made.
That offer came just before Commissioner Rob Manfred canceled the first two series of the 2022 regular season last week.
As the sides were leaving the room the players reportedly suggested a Monday meeting.
That isn’t official yet.
