The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection, in collaboration with the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation, invites Wisconsin agribusinesses to apply for International Market Access Grants through April 1.
These funds are being provided by the Wisconsin Initiative for Agricultural Exports, which was proposed by Gov. Evers for his 2021 – 2023 budget.
Applicants must be an established agribusiness that is new to exporting or expanding into new markets, operating in Wisconsin for at least one year, and manufacturing, processing, assembling or distributing a product that has the potential to be exported.
With 2021 seeing a new record for agricultural exports in Wisconsin, the goal is for this financial support to continue the momentum, according to a release from the governor’s office.
