Manitowoc-based Wisconsin Aluminum Foundry has announced a new acquisition.
WAF is purchasing DEE, Inc., a castings manufacturer located in Crookston, MN.
Local CEO Sachin Shivarim explains that DEE, Inc. allows them to meet the growth in their customers’ demand for aluminum casting.
Shivarim also anticipates the purchase will create significant growth at the Minnesota location, along with the creation of 30 additional jobs by Wisconsin Aluminum Foundry as DEE increases its’ production.
This marks the 2nd such acquisition within the past year as WAF bought the former assets of Wabash Castings in Indiana.
