The Green Bay woman accused of hanging her dogs in a public park will have to undergo a psychological evaluation.
A judge ordered the competency exam for 56-year-old Pamela McNeill after she was arrested for hanging two canines from the trees at a park and ride in Howard.
The exam will determine if McNeill can understand the court activity and assist in her defense.
McNeill reportedly told the officers that arrested her that the Pomeranians were misbehaving, and that is why she killed them.
She is facing two charges of Mistreatment of Animals Causing Death and two more of Felony Bail Jumping, which could land her in prison for up to seven years.
