In-person services and resources from the Department of Workforce Development are being offered at the Manitowoc Public Library today from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
The services will be offered in the library’s Franklin Street Room. Services are set to include basic job assessment services, information about job fairs, assistance identifying area job opportunities including applying online, resume writing, as well as help registering in the Job Center of Wisconsin.
DWD Secretary-designee Amy Pechacek issued a statement before a similar program in Beloit earlier this month, saying that the department is excited about their partnerships with Wisconsin libraries.
She added, “Working together with community partners allows us to make job service resources more accessible to the people of Wisconsin.”
No appointment is needed. Interested residents are advised to simply drop by the library and head to the Franklin Street Room.
