The Sheboygan Police Department is looking to reunite robbery victims with their lost items.
The Department has responded to numerous thefts from garages over the past several months, where items such as bikes, electric hoverboards, and extension ladders were taken.
A problem they are now having is tracing these items back to their rightful owners.
They are encouraging everyone to keep track of the serial numbers on their valuable items, so if they were to be stolen, you can easily prove they belong to you.
You are encouraged to keep that list in a safe place, and maybe even engrave your items with an identifiable mark, such as your initials.
Sheboygan residents who have been the victim of theft and have not reported it are encouraged to contact Detective Brandon Kehoe at 920-459-4267 to see if the Police Department has your stolen items.
