A Dane County judge has rejected a second request for the bond to be lowered for a homicide suspect.
19-year-old Jerry Ward is charged with first-degree intentional homicide as a party to a crime for the incident in August 2020.
11-year-old Anisa Scott was killed when shots were fired at the man who was watching after her that day.
Ward, Perion Carreon, and Andre Brown were arrested.
Ward’s original $1.5 million bond was reduced to $500,000, but the judge said no to an effort to reduce it further.
His trial is scheduled to be held in June.
