Reports indicate the Bucks really wanted to sign Goran Dragic to help with a roster shortage at the guard position.
Instead, they wound up with Jevon Carter.
Injuries to Pat Connaughton and George Hill have left Milwaukee short in the backcourt.
Contributing to that situation was the decision to trade Donte DiVincenzo and Rodney Hood.
Carter isn’t expected to be the scorer coach Mike Budenholzer needs but he is a solid defender.
He became available when he was waived by the Brooklyn Nets – so that team could sign Dragic.
