There will be a Winter Parking Ban in effect from 1:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. overnight tonight; that means the morning hours of Tuesday, February 22.
This is in anticipation of the snow and freezing rain that the area is expecting.
The ban includes salt routes, including bus and truck routes, arterial streets, state highways, and county trunks within Manitowoc. A full map of salt routes can be found on the City of Manitowoc’s website.
Drivers are advised to seek alternative parking on non-restricted streets. The fine for violating the parking ban is $50.00.
