A weekend sweep by Ohio State has knocked the Wisconsin women’s hockey team down into third place in the WCHA with the playoffs starting Friday.
The Badgers only managed two goals all weekend after sweeping Ohio State earlier in the season.
Saturday’s 2-1 loss in Ohio ended the regular season.
Senior Daryl Watts scored Wisconsin’s only goal in the second period.
Wisconsin hosts Bemidji State in the first round of the WCHA Tournament Friday at LaBahn Arena.
