
There are three meetings on the agenda for today in the City of Manitowoc, all who which will be held in the Councill Chambers.
First up will be the Room Tax Commission, who gather will at 5:15 p.m., and will officially hire Courtney Hansen as the City’s Director of Tourism.
Then at 5:30 p.m., the Committee of the Whole will gather to receive an informational update on the Newton Gravel Pit.
Closing out the evening will be the Common Councill, whose meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m.
The public will be given time to voice their comments, after which Mayor Justin Nickels will officially appoint Jennifer Hudon to the Committee on Aging, and Debra Meyer to the Industrial Development Corporation.
The Council will also look over bids submitted for a variety of upcoming projects, including a sewer project, and for the extension of the water main on Viebahn Street.
