Manitowoc County’s Health Officer says the county is moving in the right direction in terms of Covid-19 numbers.
Stephanie Lambert tells Seehafer News, “In the last seven days there have been an additional 134 confirmed cases and 45 probable cases of covid among Manitowoc County residents. The current 7-day average is 26 cases per day, a 43% decrease from last week.”
The big news she says is that “For the first time since November zero new deaths have been recorded. The cumulative county total is now 20,178 cases and 176 deaths.”
Lambert also said that the 7-day average of hospitalizations has also continued to decline in the northeast region.
