The Wisconsin National Guard will be sending some support to a health care facility in Plymouth.
Sheboygan County Administrator Adam Payne recently announced that 20 members of the Guard will be joining the staff at Rocky Knoll as a part of a statewide effort to aid hospitals and healthcare facilities amid the pressures of COVID-19.
Many of these facilities around the country are seeing a shortage of nurses due to a combination of being overworked and underpaid.
The Guardsmen and women are scheduled to arrive at Rocky Knoll on Monday (February 21st) and will be on hand for a six-to-nine-week term.
