For the first time since the Jaycee’s disbanded, Brewfest is on in Manitowoc.
Brewfest was run by the Jaycees for 24 years, but they handed the reigns over to the Noon Rotary Club, which will be hosting the 25th iteration at the County Expo Grounds on Saturday.
Attendees will be able to discover beers from more than 25 breweries.
In total, over 125 different beers will be available to sample, while refreshments will be served by volunteers from InCourage.
Advance tickets are available for $35 at Petskull Brewing Company, Sabbatical Brewing Co., Ryan’s on York, Tapped on the Lakeshore, and Superior Discount Liquors.
Tickets will cost $40 at the door.
Proceeds from the event will go toward benefiting Big Brothers Big Sisters Wisconsin Shoreline.
