Manitowoc Lincoln had a very good showing on Saturday at the Whitefish Bay Gymnastics Invite.
Coach Jacque Bartow’s Ships won the lower division bracket with a score of 131.725, while runner-up Nicolet was less than a point behind at 131.075.
Sheboygan co-op placed 4th & Valders/Roncalli took 6th in the 8-team competition.
Leading the way individually for Manitowoc was junior Raena Portmann, who was 2nd on beam and 3rd in the all-around.
Senior Morgan Hofmeyer had a 2nd place finish on bars and tied Ashley Block for 4th in the all-around.
Next up for the Ships is the Conference Meet Friday night at Kaukauna.
