The Dane County Sheriff’s Office reports it was two state agents who fired the shots that left Quadren Wilson wounded as he was being taken into custody February 3rd.
More than 20 federal, state, and local law enforcement officers were involved.
None of the arresting officers were wearing body cameras.
The only video of the arrest comes from a nearby traffic camera that wasn’t focused on the area continually.
Wilson’s attorney says his client was unarmed and complying with police commands when he was shot five times.
He had surgery two days later and is recovering in the Dane County Jail.
