Authorities in Oconto County are investigating reports that students in Suring were strip-searched.
Sheriff Todd Skarban says it will be up to the district attorney to review the report and decide whether criminal charges are called for.

Village of Suring Municipal Judge Stephanie Lupe says her daughter was one of seven sophomore girls strip-searched last month after they were caught vaping in a school restroom.
Three boys were also searched, but it isn’t clear if they were forced to strip down to their underwear – like the girls.
