COVID protocols with the University of Wisconsin men’s hockey program have forced the postponement of this weekend’s home series against Notre Dame.
The Badgers won’t have to forfeit.
The Big Ten conference office says it will coordinate the rescheduling process.
Wisconsin is in sixth place in the conference standings, just ahead of Michigan State and behind Penn State.
The Badgers are struggling through a six-game losing streak.
If another postponement isn’t necessary, coach Tony Granato’s squad will skate at Minnesota against the Gophers the weekend of February 25th and 26th.
