School officials plan to meet with the parents of students at Rufus King High School today (February 7th) to discuss school safety.
Five people were shot outside the school building during a high school basketball game last Tuesday.
Police say the suspect, a 34-year-old man, has turned himself in.
His name hasn’t been released.
Investigators say they expect to refer charges against at least four people to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office in the coming days.
Hundreds of students at the school walked out of class Friday, held a news conference, and demanded an end to gun violence.
