A 62-year-old Sheboygan woman has died after she was struck in a crosswalk late last week.
According to the Sheboygan Police Department, the unidentified individual was attempting to cross the street at the intersection of North 14th Street and Michigan Avenue, when she was struck by a southbound vehicle being driven by an unnamed 26-year-old woman, also from Sheboygan.
The victim was transported to St. Nicholas Hospital, where she died.
The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the officers.
The incident remains under investigation.
