Susan L. Sanderson, 70, of Manitowoc, passed away on Sunday, January 30, 2022 at Manitowoc Health and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born on June 20, 1951 to the late Norman and Alice (Kaufman) Sanderson in Manitowoc. Susan grew up and attended schools in Manitowoc, graduating from Lincoln High School in 1969. She went on to further her education at Bryant and Stratton College in Milwaukee. Over the years Susan worked as a home health aide and as a clerk at J.C. Penney and Younkers.
Susan enjoyed baking and was a cat lover. She took great pleasure in filling people’s holiday orders of candies, cookies, and bars. Her cats were her pride and joy, and she valued the companionship of Puffy, Muffy, Sascha, and most recently, her beloved Bootsie.
Survivors include her sister, Kay (Marty) Bonk of Plymouth; brother, Scot (Cheryl) Sanderson of Newburgh, Indiana; and nieces and nephews, Allison (Mike) Thomae, Aaron (Bethe) Bonk, Alexander (Rose) Bonk, Brittney Sanderson (fiancé, Scott Marion), and Jordan Sanderson. She was preceded in death by her parents and other relatives.
