A standoff with the Sheboygan County SWAT Team earlier this week ended peacefully.
Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to a home on Lakeshore Road north of Pigeon River Park at around 7:00 Tuesday evening on a report of a man with a firearm making threats.
One female at the residence was able to escape prior to their arrival, but two children remained inside.
The Deputies were joined by the SWAT team, who brought their armored vehicle known as the BEARCAT.
Negotiations ended peacefully, and the man was arrested. A search of the residence uncovered multiple drug-related items, including a marijuana grow operation.
The unidentified individual has been charged with 2nd Degree Sexual Assault, Battery, and Disorderly Conduct while Armed, which also carried with it a Domestic Violence Enhancer.
