Two more people have been charged in connection to the death of a man whose body was found near the UW Green Bay Campus last year.
Pedro A Santiago-Marquez, and Alexander Burgos-Mojica have been arrested for the murder of 36-year-old Jason Mendez-Ramos in September.
The criminal complaint, released by the Green Bay Police Department, states that Santiago-Marquez owed Ramos $80,000 from a cocaine deal.
A witness told police that Santiago-Marquez has said that he was going to “pop” Ramos.
A third individual, Jeisaac Rodriguez-Garcia, was arrested previously in connection to the dumping of Ramos’ body, and the starting of the fire that was intended to conceal it.
Santiago-Marquez has been charged with 1st Degree Intentional Homicide and Mutilating a Corpse as Party to the Crime, while Burgos-Mojica is charged with Harboring/Aiding a Felon.
Both men are due in court today for their initial appearances.
