The UW Green Bay women’s basketball team picked up a dominant win over a good Northern Kentucky team on Saturday.
The Phoenix went into the Norse’s gym and walked away with a 67-58 victory.
They were led by Junior Hailey Oskey, who accounted for 22 of her team’s points, including three buckets from beyond the arc, while Luxemburg-Casco grad and redshirt freshman Cassie Schiltz added 14.
Meanwhile, the men lost a hard-fought battle with Robert Morris 62-60.
The Phoenix were done in by their shooting in three-point land, as they only made 1 out of 10 shots from downtown.
Cade Meyer led the Phoenix with 16 points, Kamari McGee added 15, and Japannah Kellogg III accounted for 11.
The men are back on the road on Friday as they take on Cleveland State, while the women will be at the Kress Center in Green Bay on Thursday for the start of a three-game homestand.
They will be taking on Youngstown State on Season Ticket Holder Appreciation Night.
