
A home in Two Rivers caught fire Saturday evening.
Crews were dispatched to the residence in the 1800 block of 29th Street at around 5:30 PM, where they found a two-story home with heavy smoke and flames emitting from the first floor.
The lone occupant had escaped without any injuries, and firefighters were able to bring the fire under control in about 15 minutes.
The home suffered severe smoke and fire damage, estimated to be around $90,000 worth, however, the cause is still under investigation.
The Two Rivers Fire Department was assisted on the scene by fire crews from Manitowoc, Mishicot, and the Town of Two Rivers, as well as by Mishicot Ambulance.
