The State Senator representing Eastern Wisconsin is having a very successful week, as three of his bills are on their way to Governor Evers’ desk for final approval.
Senator Andre Jacque’s bill known as PSYPACT, which was co-authored by Representative Paul Tittl of Manitowoc is one of those.
This bill, which has received support from both political parties, would enter Wisconsin into an agreement that will allow a psychologist to practice more easily in other compact states.
Meanwhile, Jacque’s “Heroes for Healthcare” bill has also passed both houses.
That bill, if ratified, would help hundreds of skilled veterans begin to join the medical workforce and help relieve pressure on the healthcare system.
And finally, the De Pere Senator’s bill that aims to prevent the teaching of Critical Race Theory is also headed to the Governor.
It should be noted that this proposal has been criticized by Democrats, and Evers is likely to veto this measure.
