The Milwaukee County jury didn’t buy Theodore Edgecomb’s claim of self-defense, finding him guilty of first-degree reckless homicide Wednesday.
He will be sentenced in April.
Jury members deliberated for about three hours, asking to see some key evidence again at one point.
Surveillance cameras captured images of Edgecomb shooting 54-year-old attorney Jason Cleereman in the head during a road rage incident on the Holton Street Bridge in September of 2020.
Edgecomb told the court he had feared for his life after he was hit by the S-U-V Cleereman was riding in.
Cleereman was drunk.
When he got out to confront Edgecomb on his bike, he was shot to death.
