Wisconsin Public Service in Green Bay has some winter safety hints in its’ WPS Customer Connection.
The utility tells us to remember to keep natural gas and electric vents and meters clear of ice and snow for safety and accessibility.
They advise you to use your hand or a brush to gently remove snow from the meter, Remove icicles that may drip water onto the meters, and Don’t bury meters when using a snowblower or shovel.
