A Sturgeon Bay man has been sentenced in a child porn case from 2020.
37-year-old Christopher J. Kone will spend 13 years in prison after pleading guilty to two counts of Possession of Child Pornography and will spend seven years on extended supervision upon his release.
Kone was the focus of a human trafficking investigation between July and November 2020, which was conducted by the Door County Sheriff’s Office, and the DOJ’s Division of Criminal Investigation.
During their investigation, law enforcement personnel found several sexual photographs of a minor on Kone’s phone.
Once he is released from prison, Kone will have to register as a sex offender.
