Manitowoc County reported the largest jump in gas prices over the past week.
According to AAA, the average price per gallon of fuel rose a whopping 7 cents since last week in Manitowoc County, now averaging $3.09.
Kewaunee County also reported a four-cent increase to $3.09, while Calumet County’s average snuck up by a penny to $2.99.
Sheboygan, Outagamie, and Brown Counties prices all remained the same at $3.07, $2.99, and $3.09, respectively.
The only county to report a drop in price was Door County, where gas now costs an average of $3.13.
The state average also fell a penny to $3.07, while the national average jumped two cents to $3.33.
Manitowoc County’s average price is just shy of where it was in the first week in December and only five cents below its peak over the past four months.
Manitowoc County motorists were paying $3.14 on average during the second week of November.
