
Two former college roommates at UW-LaCrosse coached against one another last night at Manitowoc’s JFK Fieldhouse.
Dave Shaw and his Pulaski Red Raiders controlled the tempo, making it more of a half-court game, shot over 85% in the 2nd half, and converted the majority of their free throws to beat Thadd (Tad) Cornell’s Lincoln Ships 52-37.
Pulaski earns its’ 1st FRCC win after 7 losses and improves to 4-and-8 overall, while the Ships fall to 2-and-6 and 4-and-9.
The Red Raiders featured 3-players in double figures, led by freshman Colin Schultz with 17-points, including 5-three’s, Brady Wotruba added 16 and Kyle Olson chipped in 11.
Matus Dopirak topped Lincoln scoring column with 11-points.
The Ships try to reverse their fortunes Friday night when they travel to Green Bay Preble.
