A group of five adults and six children are now without a home following a duplex fire in Appleton.
The blaze in the 1600 block of East Capitol Drive was reported to the Appleton Fire Department at around 11:30 yesterday morning.
Crews reported seeing the heaviest flames coming from a garage separating the duplex, which had spread up to the attic.
The entire structure is likely to be listed as a total loss.
There were no human injuries reported, but one canine did not survive.
The cause of the fire that caused an estimated $300,000 in damage is still under investigation.
The Red Cross has been called in to assist the families affected.
