There is only one meeting scheduled for today in the City of Two Rivers.
The City Council will be in the Council Chambers at 6:00 PM, where they will start by holding a pair of public hearings regarding conditional use permit requests.
Then, City Manager Greg Buckley will give his annual State of the City report, along with an update on the City’s tourism strategy.
The Council will also look over a resolution to apply for an Idle Sites Redevelopment grant and another which would allow the Council to petition the Wisconsin Elections Commission to use paper ballots in February.
Then, in a closed session, the Council will discuss a proposed purchase agreement with Manitowoc County for the purchase of a vacant property on 20th Street before considering some proposals to purchase and redevelop the property at 2023 Washington Street.
