A 56-year-old Wisconsin man has entered a not guilty plea to a charge of first-degree intentional homicide.
Authorities say Gregg Raether killed a woman last summer.
Police say 55-year-old Patricia McCullough’s body wasn’t found until two months after she was strangled and beaten to death.
McCullough’s daughter called the police and asked them to check on her mother because they hadn’t spoken in a couple of months and her phone appeared to be disconnected.
Raether’s girlfriend, Sherri Albrecht, is a co-defendant.
She also pleaded not guilty Thursday.
That hearing was delayed two weeks when the lead detective in the case tested positive for COVID-19.
